Moneta – La Maddalena
This is a small hamlet of La Maddalena located just a few minutes from the island of Caprera. Built around 1920s around the dwellings of the Navy arsenal workers, it has a small marina and is well served by supermarkets, pizzerias, bars, tobacconists, bus stop, post office and bakery.
La Maddalena can be reached by means of transportation such as buses, cabs, shuttles and ferry.
Its historic center is easily walkable.
There are regular buses connecting the center with the rest of the town and beaches, however, we recommend private transportation.
